Many people will agree that donuts are a great way to start the day, but those people probably didn't have this in mind. When 562 hp comes roaring from the rear tires of an Italian stallion in celebration of Ferrari's reaching 8,000,000 fans, you begin to wonder how such filth was allowed on YouTube in the first place. Enjoy.
On His Way To College
Not many people get to college the way this guy does. Armed with a turbo-charged Nissan 240sx S14, youtube name "valera12345" gets to class in style - sideways. Watch as a seemingly innocent drive to school turns into the joy ride of your dreams - unless you're a proud owner of turbocharged rear wheel drive as well - and Enjoy.
A BMW E46 Sliding At Nurburgring VLN - Upside Down
Sometimes unintentionally deciding to flip your BMW E46 race car and letting it slide across the race track upside down, wheels facing toward the air, liquids spilling everywhere, is not the best idea. Nor is it the best idea during the popular Nurburgring VLN four hour endurance race. Don't worry, the driver gets out safely, and he'll probably think twice before unintentionally letting his car flip mid-race again. Enjoy.
Kim Dotcom On The Nurburgring
Megaupload, you might've heard of it. Well, the founder of Megaupload, Kim Dotcom, who is also a huge racing enthusiast and big fan of racing titles like Forza 4 and Gran Turismo 5, took it upon himself to make what he describes as, "the replay of a perfect lap on the Ring." Its not perfect, as he states himself, but it is an awesome waste of 11 minutes of your life. Using three drivers - Kim himself, another "Kim", and Finn Batato, three Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK DTM supercars, and over 30 cameras, 2 helicopters and a load of other things, Kim Dotcom ends up making not necessarily the greatest tribute to the 'Ring ever, but definitely a video worth watching. Oh and did I mention that other "Kim" is none other than the Formula One legend Kimi Raikkonen? Enjoy.
Wonderful Noise - A C5.R At Le Mans
Finishing the Weekly Five off with a bang, we've got this for you: Nearly four minutes footage of a Corvette C5.R race car, powered by a 427, Katech-produced V8 engine making 800 hp and restricted to 600, on the legendary Le Mans circuit known simply as La Sarthe. With a sound like no other Le Mans racer, the C5.R is unadulterated American V8 noise, and requires a creative imagination to be able to put the sound of that engine into words. Beautiful... Is not the word I'd use. Perhaps being repeatedly punched in the throat, while getting an aural massage, is more like it. Nevertheless, the C5.R (and C6.R) is good at what it does - making noise and winning races. Enjoy.
