What do you do when you're one of the most popular automobile publications in the UK? Well, you take a load of cars - everything from sports cars, to super coupes, to super cars, to hyper cars - and pit them against one another. That's exactly what Tiff Needell and Dickie Meaden do in this video brought to you by EVO TV's "Car of the Year 2012". The warriors in the ring are the Lotus Exige S versus the Porsche Boxster S, the Toyota GT86 versus the Morgan 3 Wheeler, the BMW M 135i versus the Porsche 911 Carrera, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series versus the Alpina B3 GT3, and last and most powerful... The McLaren MP4-12C versus the legend-to-be Pagani Huayra. What else can be said here without the support of stunning visuals and glorious noise? Enjoy.

Ken Block Drifts Irwindale

There are many of us who know that Monster Energy's rally-racing, Gymkhana champion Ken Block is a capable drifter, and for those of us that still doubt his ability - this video is for you. Irwindale is one of the most dangerous and demanding tracks on the Formula Drift calendar, primarily due to the huge banked corner that happens to be the first in the track layout. That being said, many drifters in rear-wheel-driver cars find it difficult to get through the first corner properly, usually requiring heavy amounts of power and lots of controlled angle. Ken Block, however, operates an all-wheel-drive vehicle, which - contrary to popular belief - isn't nearly as easy to drift as people may think, with the almost counter-intuitive controlling technique and throttle control, but in the end, Ken makes it possible, and throws his HFHV (Hybrid-Function-Hoon-Vehicle) sideways at 91 miles an hour, shattering rear-wheel-drive fanboys' doubts all over the world. Enjoy.

Chris Harris - The Nissan Delta Wing

At this point the internet-famous DRIVE host Chris Harris has driven everything from sports cars to super cars to rally cars to retired race cars, but what about a real-life, current-generation, full-on race car? Well, he can check that off his list too, after driving the car - if you can actually call it that - that placed 5th in the well-known Petit Le Mans endurance race held in Braselton, Georgia. I speak, of course, of none other than the underdog that is the Nissan Delta Wing, and its uber-fantastic, more-than-persistent, hard-working crew, drivers, and overall team. Having JUST finished the massive endurance race, Nissan - for whatever reason - decided to hand Chris the keys to the mesmerizing, 300 hp beast that only weighs about 400 kilograms. Throwing some decent laps down at Georgia's Road Atlanta race track, and then dissecting the car and its perplexing suspension configurations, Harris shows why virtually any car can win at Petit Le Mans - so long as its got bicycle-sized tires and its made by the technological daredevils that are Nissan. Enjoy.

Ken Block Is On Fire - AINT CARE, STILL HOONING

Doing everything from owning a multi-million dollar shoe company to starting an internet-famous video series, to racing an AWD Ford Fiesta in Rally, Rally Cross, and Gymkhana events, there's no doubt that Ken Block is a talented, successful, and persistent individual. However, when it comes to persistence in the middle of a heated US-based RallyCross race, how far should one go? Until something smells? Until there's sparks? Or until the entire cabin is on fire? Well, for Ken Block in the middle of a heated race, when he says that his Fiesta was ON FIRE - he means it, literally. Enjoy.

The Lexus IS300's Famous "Hurricane Drift"

If you're a gearhead who lives in the US and you were tuning into Channel 8 News TV a couple days ago during the superstorm dubbed "Hurricane Sandy", then you were in for a fantastic surprise. A weatherman was minding his own business as he reported the weather, up until a Lexus IS300 came out of nowhere and without hesitation drifted the entire intersection where the weatherman was reporting. The roads were clear, the drift was clean, and history was written. Enjoy.
